One of Volker Hinz’ first jobs during his time at the German news agency Sven Simon was to cover the visit of a delegation of very high-ranking German industrialists on their trip to China. Although some of those photographs were exhibited in his first exhibition 1979, the pictures were thoroughly stored away in a box and not shown since then. For the first time, they are published now in the Chinese magazine “Photo World”.
