I am very happy to announce that the book entitled

It is published by Hartmann Books with over 200 color and black and white photographs as well as texts by Timo Feldhaus and Henriette Väth-Hinz.
The book presents photos from the late 1977 - 2002 about backstage fashion from Paris to Florence, London, New York, Begjing and Moscow.

One of Volker Hinz’ first jobs during his time at the German news agency Sven Simon was to cover the visit of a delegation of very high-ranking German industrialists on their trip to China. Although some of those photographs were exhibited in his first exhibition 1979, the pictures were thoroughly stored away in a box and not shown since then. For the first time, they are published now in the Chinese magazine “Photo World”.
